REDUNDANT LANGUAGE
Learning Goal: In today's lesson you will learn what redundant language is and how to eliminate it from your writing.
Redundant Language: refers to words or phrases that are unnecessary or repeat what has already been said. An example of redundant language is: "at this point in time." This is redundant because both at this point and at this time convey the same message.
When writing, you want to write clear and concise sentences.
